Fast forward about 25 years and I started a family of my own - I began to realize that the saying I had heard so many times that "the days are long but the years are short" was a real thing. Life moves fast and before you know it, you're looking back on those little moments that you never realized were so special. The sound of a giggle, the play time imagination, making cookies on a snowy day. And I wanted to capture them as best I could.
